Special note about
names: We do not name our kittens. That privilege belongs to you. When
the kittens necks are big enough we put colored pony tail holders on
them so we can tell them apart. When you call us about kittens, we want
to make sure we know which kitten you're interested in. So until you
have given us a name we identify them by the color of their collar.

About the
pictures: I take extreme close up shots of the kittens to show them
at their best so please understand the kittens are not really as big as they
look in the
photos. For example, the picture on the left is the original untouched
photo. The picture on the right has been cropped with the color
tone
and lighting tweaked.

Amaretto
had her litter of 3 girls and 2 boys on June 7. All of these
kittens are seal points.
The milestone dates for this
litter are:
August 2 - First vet visit and
shots. This is when the new adoptive parents must choose
their kitten.
August 30 - Second vet visit
for shots, spay/neuter, and tattoo.
September
6 - Go home with their
new family.
These
pictures were taken on June 21. The kittens are now 2 weeks old.
Usually we have to wait until the kittens are about 4 to 5 weeks
old before we can put collars on them because their necks are so
small. However, these kittens are all pretty hefty so we have
collared them early.
At this
age they still can't see very well so they find their way
mostly by smell. And they can't really walk very well either.
They crawl around on wobbly legs.

Here they are all sound asleep
in their birthing box.

This is
the beige collar girl. She is a seal but lighter than her
sisters. In 2 weeks when we take her next picture her collar
color will change because we don't have any larger beige
collars.

Here is
the red collar girl.

And
this is the yellow collar girl.

This is
the blue collar boy. He's noticeably smaller than his brother.

And
this is the brown collar boy. He's going to be a big boy. He's a
late bloomer... his eyes are just starting to open. In another
couple of days his eyes will be fully open. I'll upload new
pictures of him next weekend.

5 girls and 1 boy on May 13.
The milestone dates for this
litter are:

shots. This is when the new adoptive parents must choose
their kitten.
August 9 - Second vet visit
for shots, spay/neuter, and tattoo.
August 16 - Go home with their
new family.
These
pictures were taken on June 21. The kittens are now almost 6
weeks old.
They have colored collars on them to tell them apart. We still
aren't sure about their point colors. The 'no collar' is
definitely a seal point but the others could be chocolate points
or light seal points. We will know the colors for sure by their
next pictures in 2 weeks.
Here
we have all six kittens in their bed.

This is the black collar girl.
She is the runt of the litter. Right now she weighs 11.5 ounces.

This is the green color girl.
She was the rust collar in her last pictures but we don't have
any larger rust colored collars. She will remain green collar
from now on.

This is the 'no collar' girl.

This is the red collar girl.

And this is the yellow collar
girl.

And, as I promised, Shiraz's'
boy has become much more handsome than his last pictures.
